To ensure the best dehumidification experience, Govee recommends the following tips: - After connecting to WiFi for the first time, keep the dehumidifier off for 15 minutes and then re-power it to OTA (over-the-air) update the firmware to version 1.00.20. - When turning on the dehumidifier for the first time, some sound and odor may be normal, so please wait patiently for 10 minutes. - The dehumidifier emits heat when in use, which is how it absorbs moisture. - The dehumidifier has a 50-pint/day (65°F, 60% RH), 66-pint/day (86°F, 60% RH), or 109-pint/day (86°F, 80% RH) capacity. - To protect the compressor and extend the service life, the compressor will start working after 3 minutes each time the dehumidifier is turned on, and it will automatically stop for 10 minutes every 8 hours of operation. - You can attach a 3/4 garden hose (not included) to the drain hose connector for continuous drainage. - The recommended use area is 900 square feet, and the maximum use area is 4,500 square feet. The dehumidification effect may not be as effective in larger areas. - Allow at least 8 inches on all sides and 16 inches on the top of the unit for air circulation. - In Auto Mode, the Maintain function reduces the frequency of turning on/off the device caused by ambient humidity changes, maintaining a 30-38% range after reaching the target humidity.
