The filter features a premium-grade Australian Virgin charcoal bed made up of activated carbon with a rating of 1200+ IAV. Its extra-large size enables a greater capacity of the activated carbon, extending its lifespan while maximizing airflow passthrough.

The filter can be used in conjunction with an inline duct fan for intake and exhaust configurations. It has a heavy-duty construction with aluminum flanges and dual-sided stainless-steel mesh. The flanges are built with hooks that can clip into rope hangers to suspend the filter onto grow room support beams.

Included with the filter are two machine washable pre-filter cloths to prevent carbon residue and two rope clip hangers to suspend the extra-large carbon filter above ground.

The premium-grade Australian Virgin charcoal bed, with its higher microporosity and surface area rating, achieves a 38mm thickness and wider mesh openings, enabling a greater adsorption rate without restricting free airflow. This also extends the carbon filter's lifespan by up to 33%.

The carbon scrubber is designed to trap and eliminate the spread of odors and chemicals for various ventilation projects, including hydroponics. It helps keep strong odors and chemicals from spreading, ensuring a fresh-feeling room.

The filter is made with RC412 pore-sized activated carbon that is highly adsorbable, drawing odor and gaseous compounds to each carbon piece. It features heavy-duty aluminum flanges that fit seamlessly over ducting and include hanging hooks for a secure install onto grow room support beams.

To maximize airflow while diminishing CFM loss, the filter uses galvanized steel mesh that lines the inner chamber and the outer body. It also includes two easy-to-wash sleeves that go over the mesh body to prevent carbon residue from building up and keep the air filter clean.

AC Infinity offers the Air Carbon Filter in three sizes: 4-inch, 6-inch, and 8-inch, with the 6-inch model having a duct opening size of 6 inches, a length of 20 inches, an airflow rating of 520 CFM, and a carbon thickness of 38mm.
